Tim Mercer, CEO, Vapour Cloud Despite 20 years in the IT sector, Tim hasn’t perhaps always been the obvious tech entrepreneur. He began his working life in the British Army, serving in both Northern Ireland and the Gulf War, before entering the data and networks environment when he returned to ‘Civvy Street’. Establishing Vapour in 2013, the business initially concentrated on cloud voice, video, networks, and storage. Fast forward to 2021, and the company ventured into much wider digital transformation territory, with a cloud toolkit that includes everything from a secure SD-WAN solution for hybrid working, through to Robotic Process Automation, TeamsLink, and more.
